Updates for the game day: Minnesota Vikings try to staunch their losing streak against the Las Vegas Raiders.

In Sunday's NFL game, the Minnesota Vikings won against the Las Vegas Raiders with a score of 3-0. The game was played in front of a packed crowd at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, with both teams putting up an impressive defense. The game was notable for its low score, which was the lowest in 16 years.

The Vikings were able to secure their victory with Greg Joseph's 36-yard field goal with 1:57 left, ensuring that the game wouldn't end regulation scoreless. It was a much-needed win for the Vikings, who had been experiencing a losing streak in their previous games.

The game was also significant because it marked the first shutout for the Vikings since defeating the Packers in 2017. Despite their win, the Vikings had just 230 total yards, while the Raiders were limited to 201 yards and nine first downs.

However, the game was not without its injuries. The Vikings lost Justin Jefferson, the 2022 AP Offensive Player of the Year, due to a chest injury. He was taken to the hospital, and his status for future games remains uncertain.

This was Jefferson's first game back after missing the previous seven games due to a hamstring injury. The Raiders also suffered an injury to their running back Josh Jacobs in the fourth quarter. Jacobs had led the NFL in rushing last season with 1,653 yards and had rushed for more than 100 yards in two of the prior three games.

Overall, the game was a testament to the team's defensive prowess, with both teams putting up an impressive defense. For the Vikings, it was their first shutout of the season, and they were able to beat an AFC West opponent for the first time this season after going 0-3.
